for my sophomore inspire week i was in the san Juan mountain association group. our original plan was too get out side and fix fences and explore the out doors. but due to weather we were forced to change up our plan. on the first day we went to a bunk house for volunteer rangers and helped on the renovations of the building. we split our group into two and half worked on putting flooring down on the bedrooms up stairs and the other half painted the bedrooms down stairs. the second day we ended up driving to doloras and went to the public land center. here we met some park rangers and helped them create reflectors for endangered bird called gunnison sage grouse. when doing this we just had to put black sharpie marks on each side of the cone shaped piece of plastic.
